Our work

What we're building.

The public-interest platforms we're designing and building — so the protections people are promised are part of the system, not a policy page.

Community resilience & coordinationHub · in development
The challenge

A statewide network of community resilience coordinators holds hard-won knowledge scattered across inboxes and regions, with no shared place to learn, coordinate, or track the policy that shapes their work.

What we're building

Hub, a coordination platform that brings a community's knowledge, training, mentoring, and policy tracking into one shared, accessible place — designed to public standards (WCAG 2.1 AA · Section 508) from the first wireframe.

The goal

Turn isolated effort into a connected practice — one trusted source coordinators across a state can rely on.

Infrastructure for the people who do the work.

Voice data & AI inclusionTrusted Voice Project · foundational phase
The challenge

Voice is how most of the world communicates — yet the voice data shaping AI today was overwhelmingly Anglophone, urban, and Global-North-recorded. The communities whose voices are missing are the most exposed to AI's harms and the least equipped to shape it.

What we're building

We're incubating the Trusted Voice Project, a multi-region coalition for ethically sourced, culturally representative voice data across Africa, Latin America, and Asia — built on a federated coalition of Global South partners, a shared voice-data methodology released as a public good, and a standards-and-policy workstream. We anchor it as fiscal sponsor, legal home, ethical overseer, and secretariat.

The goal

A Global South framework where the people whose voices are at stake anchor the data, the design, and the governance — serving AI inclusion, cultural preservation, authentication, and synthetic-audio defense.

The people whose voices are at stake should govern the data. Led by Pamposh Raina, Advisor on Responsible AI.
